ORBIT Login Multifactor Authentication Coming September 7th!

ORBIT Customers,

In compliance with the New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) cybersecurity requirements, ORBIT will be implementing Multifactor Authentication (MFA) for all users starting September 7, 2025.

What This Means for You

• MFA will be required each time you log into your ORBIT account.
• You will receive a welcome email from no-reply@oldrepublictitle.com prompting you to create your new password and set up MFA.
• If you don’t see the email in your inbox, please check your junk/spam folder.
• After setup, you’ll log in using:
• Your Starslink username (if you have one), or
• Your email address (if you don’t have a Starslink username).
• You’ll then receive an MFA code via the method you selected during setup (e.g., email, SMS Text, authenticator app like OKTA).
• If you chose email, be sure to check your junk/spam folder if the code doesn’t appear in your inbox.

Why the Change Is Required

The NYDFS mandates that companies operating in New York implement MFA as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen cybersecurity and protect consumers. These regulations help ensure that financial and personal information remains secure against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.

How to Prepare

• If you have had any recent changes to your email or phone information let us know and we can update your profile. 
• If you need assistance, the ORBIT team will be available to guide you through the setup process.
• If you use a generic login, or if you are sharing your ORBITINFO.com username and password, everyone will need a separate username and password. Please contact us for more information.
